Welcome
to mOZaid
mOZ aid is
an Australian non profit
organisation dedicated to helping people in the country
of Mozambique through
Community development and
Education
EDUCATION
Education for
mOZaid is directed by Dr Terry King.
Dr King founded the Penrith Christian Community School
in Sydney, Australia - a P-12. He currently serves as
the board appointed chaplain at Emmanuel College on
Australia's Gold Coast.
Terry is passionate about
seeing children in Mozambique given the opportunity for
a strong education.
"Our desire at
mOZaid is to see every
Mozambican child grow up with the opportunity of a
school education. Most children cannot afford to go to
school. It is our aim to be able to offer education to
Mozambican children who live in poverty." Dr King

RURAL LITERACY
Rural literacy is to give the opportunity for people to
have a better future - potentially breaking the poverty
cycle
Our team has successfully created a curriculum that
fulfils these concepts and we have since begun
establishing this program in rural areas.
Fully trained trainers visit remote villages with the
materials and raise up local teachers.
Classes consist of 30 - 60 adults and children.
Ongoing training is provided to the local teachers - who
are supported by their local community.
